ANSWER : Let me give you different options you have now. (The below are written priority wise for cse ) 1. Take a year drop: If your family does not need your financial support then , i definitely recommend you go for a year drop . by taking a year drop you will have more time to prepare without any deviations. 2. Take job and prepare for GATE: In this case , you need to be more dedicated in-spite of deviations because people around you tend to enjoy in their free time . many MNC's does not assign project immediately after joining ,so you can use the time. otherwise make use of weekends and holidays. 3.
